BEAMS+ Bahamas Swordfish in Faded Red
We teamed up with BEAMS+ to create a limited edition capsule of QMS headwear, this time reworking one of our most iconic shapes for longer days in stronger sun.
The Bahamas Neck Flap Swordfish starts with our classic long bill cap, originally designed by QMS founder and Coast Guard veteran Joe Kadison for real protection on the water. Like the original, the bill is long for a reason: it shades the face when the glare is high and the day has no intention of letting up.
For this version, we added a neck flap for extra coverage and an easy one-size fit with an elastic sweatband. It is the sort of practical detail that might look a little eccentric at first, then make perfect sense the second the sun hits the back of your neck.
